or print only a selected subset of the master file.

Extension for the selected subset. Next enter desired
match string. For example, if you selected filename and
entered 'CH' as the input string, all files in your
master file starting with 'CH' will be displayed.
ORT - Sorts Master library file by filename, extension, or Disk
ID. I recommend only copies of the master library file
should be sorted because CATALOG and MERGE require the
master library file be sorted by filename in order to work
properly. Sorting large master files can be time consuming.
Disks in RS or Flex formats can be catalogued. However, the disk
containing the master file must be in RS format.

13. UIT - Aborts the program and returns to Basic. Takes program out of
memory.

AVE DIRECTORY - Use of this option will save the granule allocation
table and directory (RS format only) in the upper half of the directory track.
This area on the disk cannot be accessed during normal disk use and is
usually dead space on the disk. As such, use of this option will not tie up
a granule of disk space as some other directory saving schemes do. Use
of this option and RECOVER DIRECTORY option can help to recover a crashed
disk.
